Wow…that is a great article. Ironic…I just went on a fox hunt yesterday…as a ‘hill-topper’ in a nice warm truck. I did ‘rough it’ on occasion but getting out and taking a few photographs.
Heh, while searching the web for a picture of Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy taking a nosedive over a panel, I stumbled across an article on her that has some good photos, too. Plus, it talks about her foxhunting history.

If you find it, please do share! It’s supposed to be quite a famous photograph, but I have never seen it.
Certainly it could be found in the National Sporting Library, which is only a day’s drive away…
I searched for awhile, but couldn’t find it either.
I’m not sure if this is THE famous photo, but could be:

I remember seeing the photo in the Washington Post when I was young (probably when she passed away, I think it was part of a big spread) but don’t remember it very clearly.
Wow, that is great! I’m surprised she didn’t break her collar bones.
Grasshopper - I think that’s the one. Though I remember seeing another one of her falling which was closer up. Not a nosedive though.
She was an excellent rider. Heck - she even managed to look graceful when falling off.
