Not surprisingly I too have been blocked as well.

It is almost worth leaving the picture up just to further illustrate his ignorance. He is a fool and I think that cannot be forgotten. Interestingly I have 6 friends in common with him and while I know none of them would support this stupidity I don’t know if it would be worth alerting some BNT, though I would not want to be tied professionally in any way with him including liking his FB page.

Two comments up that haven’t been deleted yet:

This rider has never claimed to be world-class…in fact, she freely admits that she’s an AA who continually seeks to be educated. There is no shame in that. We should all seek to continually improve our positions.

Hardly a chair seat. Are the heels raised? Yes. Is there a line from shoulders to hips to heels (even raised?) Yes. Also, consider the point in the horse’s stride. In a chair seat, the entire leg is well in front of the seat…in this photo, the rider’s heels have come up, but is NOT a chair seat.

he counts Lisa Wilcox as a “fan” of his page. But I think his personal page has been deleted or blocked from me…

They’re gone now ^^ COWARD.

I’ve thought the same thing. I have 8 friends in common, and most are BNTs that probably accept every friend request sent to them. I’m not going to get further involved on Facebook, as my account is under my real name and tied to my business on there. Not worth the risk.

His personal page is http://www.facebook.com/Nick.Peronace.5

I posted the first comment…was in the middle of posting a critique of his position - complete with a similar screenshot as Appsolute, but was blocked in the middle of posting…argh!

The bottom comment is mine.

If you really want to be ooged out, go to the “About” page and scroll down through the things he likes…

Can’t see the comments for some reason. What did you say?

He can give criticism but not accept it himself…

Nick Peronace Dressage “Gwynn Daniels it is 100% fair. How interesting that some people go on the defence and make it personal, and will actually use ego defense mechanism on behalf of another rider ( age, location, time, angle etc) .
To become a better rider one has to learn to take criticism. To criticize but educate is NOT mean! To criticize and not show a difference WOULD BE. Criticism is baptism under fire.”

And he’s stealing photos

This is the picture w/ the above commentary :

Now look here and scroll down a bit:

THE NERVE OF THIS MAN! This woman bred her horse and trainer her up the levels with the help of an actual GP rider/trainer. She has an excellent show record. I’ve seen her ride - looks like she should be charging at least $100/45 minutes for lessons on the “Peronance Scale”. This guy is unbelievable…
Blume Farm, you’re in his sights!
I wouldn’t worry about it. He clearly has trouble with his vision.

This guy is eerily similar to EABuck, down to the attacks and blocks. They should team up.

Joanne, these were the two comments…first is mine, the second is Unfforgetable’s.

Talk about an unholy alliance!

Also, what is this Devon Chevy’s Cup thing? It looks like he bought a trophy online and took a picture of himself holding it in the Devon parking lot.

I’d like to announce the Buttonwillow Grand Prix World Championship award. Meet me behind the 7/11 at midnight. Bring cash.

I just had that very same experience/thought.

The other comment that got deleted was mine, and I said, “This picture came from <link> and I doubt you have permission to use it.” Now I can’t see anything as far as comments go.

The Devon Chevy’s Cup is basically an award that he sponsors to the highest scoring non-warmblood. So, yeah, he bought a cup.

He sponsored a trophy for DAD for the highest placing PSG or higher non- warmblood, this was the first year it was awarded and was earned by Elly Schobel. I think the trophy is a way of trying to legitimize himself with a well recognized competition. He did it the only way he could, by buying it. It is interesting that he is sponsoring an award at a show which he has never participated in.
