Isabell Werth and Satchmo - at home, in a halter (and bareback - that is possible when you have a steady leg and a good seat), doing the GP moves. No yanking on the halter, no monkey humping - THIS is what a talented and gifted rider looks like. Ms. Werth put in the WORK needed to get to this level.
I guess that is what leaves me so outraged. Correct dressage requires DEDICATION and an immense amount of HARD WORK to do it correctly. No, you can’t just go buy a made hunter that “swaps” add some lateral and go do the upper level. Dressage is NOT about short cuts! Its really not something you can do “self taught”. Its not something you can set down for 11 years, and then declare yourself a master.
It is SO INSULTING to hard working dressage riders and trainers out there to suggest it is so easy - and doesn’t require years and years of education, dedication, and hard work.

Well Blume Farm, that’s what happens when you buy your way to the top, Geez. I to have a fancy horse on the cheap. I bought her Elite dam at a dispersal auction and bought the breeding from the stallion service auction and got really lucky as she took on the first try and had a very routine pregnancy. I was very blessed to have a wonderful foal who aside from being Grey is as I “ordered” alas I too have bought my way to the winner’s circle, (well I would if I actually won anything 
)
I am always amazed at the assumption of others. Of course your hard work and dedication couldn’t have gotten you there! You have a lovely mare, but I am sure you don’t need little ole me to tell you that.

I bred my mare in Germany before import and that resulting foal is Roseblume, my riding mare.
Thirdly, believe me I have heard from my trainer more times than I would like to recount “HEELS DOWN” and “LET GO”. I am sure my mare feels that way as well:) In that picture I am starting a medium canter which I had been getting 6s on and we were certainly capable of higher scores. However, I always felt like I was flying but the video proved the judges right in “could be more” “needs more” “conservative”. In my head though I always felt like the kid in the black stallion movie galloping on the beach!! In this picture I said to myself “go for it”!!! And I did, then said “holy shit” and hung on for dear life. Either way I love the picture as it shows progress for my lovely mare and I.
In an odd way I am flattered that he stole my picture. Is that weird or what?? In no way do I want to be associated with this man, but it is so funny to me that he stole my picture.

Buttonwillow, though I admire and endorse the unique and mystical art personified by the USCDF, I dare not like the FB page for fear of losing access to another page :o
I pretty much want to hang out with everyone who did some incredible research and Photoshopped Richard Simmons onto horseback. You ladies (and one gentleman!) are amazing!

He was banned from several, but if I’m the admin with the tagged no-advertising policy at the top of the page he was removed for violating the no-advertising policy and banned for being abusive to members who
(politely) disagreed with his pro-rollkur stance. His abusive personal attacks and threats toward me came after his banning, and I reported him to facebook. I believe I am part of the reason his facebook page now has the number 5 in the url.

Thanks, Mosey. He’s not nearly as bad as I expected. He appears to have an uneducated seat and as if he’s less effective than I am - and I classify my own riding as suckage. However, I have seen GP trainers who make it on very talented and forgiving horses who manage despite lack of educated seats. Not internationally, but locally it happens. If he were not so quick to be abusive to others and not a flat out liar with the claims which have been disproved on this thread I wouldn’t much care what he did, and be willing to discuss how one improves the seat with misguided individuals who think he’s great. However, I do have a big issue with his abuse and attacks on strangers on the web. I would not let someone with a temper like that near my horses.
