Nick Peronce Dressage Clinic
Okay…too early for wine…but how about some coffee heavily laced with Bailey’s??? :D
It is never too early for that!

For the sake of it, here is an interresting read :

From Eurodressage’s facebook page

Long story short : ‘‘We, we, we.’’ Like if he was part of something.

He should follow what he preaches :

Can we open our eyes and stop being so arrogant and delusional?..

And the grand final :

And on a side note, I currently have those 10 movers in my barn. they have the breeding of Rubinstein, Donnerhall and Ramiro. They are all babies just getting under saddle, but remember you heard this name and remember we had this conversation.

I truly wish I could erase your name and seeing your riding.

Somebody please screencap that whole transaction!

You just can’t make this stuff up…

I feel so wicked for enjoying this…

As you wish

The United States might have won silver and bronze, but a closer look at who they competed against, and the scores they received, tells a much different story.
At the Euros recently, the top scores were in the 80%, almost 90% range. Until the United States can get such scores, there is truly nothing to be excited about. We rave about a 72% and winning a silver against a bunch of second string horses, while Damon Hill and Valegro are getting 85 and 87%.

Can we open our eyes and stop being so arrogant and delusional?..

Nick Peronce Dressage, first of all it is not arrogance. We did win a bronze and silver at nations cup competitions in Eurpope. I won’t argue that we have a long way to go but compared to how we did at the Olympics in 2012 our performance in Europe in the summer of 2013 was impressive. We have to start somewhere and taking pride in the accomplishments we have made so far is a step in the right direction. No, we do not have a gold medal team for the WEG in 2014 or the Olympics in 2016 at this time. But we have to start with a positive attitude and from where we are. Yes, we have to be realistic about what we have achieved so far but degrading our accomplishments to this point will not help the moral of the team or future team members.

Im not degrading any accomplishments and I’m very proud of our American riders. Please dont misunderstand me. I definitely feel we are on the right track.
What I dont like is how we celebrate those wins in Europe as if it was the WEG. Im saying that we need to be much more critical and much more demanding of our American riders, trainers and breeders. We might get a 72%or even a 75%, but until we can straighten up, until we can push the politics aside of who’s horse it is or who the rider is, until we can get those 10 movers to score 80% or higher, then NO, I don’t see us winning a real championship like WEG or Olympics.

Call it tough love because I really want to see the USET dominate in international competition, but if we keep thinking we have some great team because we can score a 70 something when the Germans, Dutch and GBR score 80 something each, forget it. Kiss that podium goodbye. Maybe im harsh, but enough of the sugar coating, enough of the politics.
Cry later, listen to me now.

And on a side note, I currently have those 10 movers in my barn. they have the breeding of Rubinstein, Donnerhall and Ramiro. They are all babies just getting under saddle, but remember you heard this name and remember we had this conversation.

Ding, ding, ding!!!

And…he mentioned in the other thread he doesn’t compete.
So…what is he going to do with all these ‘10 movers’??

And he cooked for them too! Next time i bet he washes the trucks and trailers…

Who wrote those FB posts for him? The spelling and grammar is WAY too good.

Is this an example of someone with Narcissistic Personality Disorder, perhaps?

And what happened to the “non-warmblood” dressage thing?

FTR I have no problems with “off” breeds. Or in my case the “I have no idea but he looks like he probably has a good bit of QH in there somewhere” breed.

The barn in his fantasy-land. Yep, he has Donnerhall and Rubinstein offspring that he has crossed with unicorns, pegasus(es?), and a pink sparkly My Little Pony. And they’re all already trained to PSG, so they should be ready for GP in, like, 4 hours.

Wait a minute. Dude doesn’t even have a barn. Right?
This is what was confusing me. Didn’t we sort all that out a few weeks ago? He doesn’t have a barn - he said so - so he used the address of a nearby barn as his own - he said so - because it seemed unprofessional not to have a barn address - that’s what he said - then he said he was leasing ring space at the barn - he said that - but the farm owner denied any agreement with him about leasing anything on her property - he agreed that he didn’t - currently - but he could, if he wanted to, because other people did it and he had no reason to think she wouldn’t lease ring time out to him either (this is ring teaching time, not stalls or horse boarding space).

So, you are right. Dude doesn’t have a barn. Or a ring, or anything, or any horses as far as I can tell. Far as I’ve seen, he travels to give clinics. That’s about it.

:eek::confused::lol:

I don’t even have words for what he wrote there.

So who’s gonna be the one to go on that FB posting and out him?

Shoot, lunch break about over. I’ll have to wait until this afternoon for the next installment of Nick’s Fantasy Funny Farm.

This past weekend Nick Peronce droveto Iowa from PA for a dressage!!! At the clinic we had beginners all the way up to advanced and Nick could help with something for everyone!! He really helped me with getting my OTTB supple. I was very impressed! He had a great attitude and is really easy to work with. After lessons he even cooked for us lol. We really enjoyed having Nick here and plan on having him back in March. If you guys ever get a chance to ride with him, do it!!!
If that’s Nick, he spelled his own name wrong. I’m not saying it isn’t Nick, mind you.

I want to know when the OP is gonna come back on and give us more details about the clinic??
How beginner were the ‘beginners’? What level were the ‘advanced’ riders?? What exercises did he have her do to help her OTTB get more supple?
And…most importantly!!..what did he COOK???
