Nine levels of Dressage?

sorry for all these questions but I am sooo confused.

Could someone list the nine levels of Dressage for me as I can’t find them anywhere on the web?
Thanks

are you referring to parelli or something?

or the competition levels? ( which are:)

Training
First, second, third and fourth levels
PSG, I-1, I-2, and GP

Or the training scale/pyramid?

You could add Intro to that list.

thank you-being in Canada, 'Intro" is not a competition level here. I think some of the smaller shows offer a “walk trot” class or something- maybe that’s like 'Intro"?

It may fit into these mysterious “nine levels”, if we collapse I-1 and I-2 into just intermediare.

No wonder Jo is confused! So am I now!

Competition levels, what does PSG stand for and is I-1 like intermediate 1.

Sorry Iv just got this assignment and need to put some background info on dressage tests in.

Prix St. Georges
I= intermediare, there are two levels of it, whereas Grand Prix and PSG have only one level.

What’s your assignment about?

Basically im from the UK and do e-commerce where I have had to find a good niche and write about generating sales etc etc. Bit boring really, I used to own a horse but never did Dressage so am a bit rusty on the finer points. So big thanks for helping me, its wierd how I cant find this stuff on the net but thats what makes it such a good niche!!

hmm, I guess you kind of have to know where to look with all the garbage out there these days on the net. Sometimes you’ll get better info from following links, or doing a search on this forum. I can’t help anymore than that without knowing what the specifics of the venture are. I thought you were a kid doing something for school, but it sounds like you’re actually in business.

oh yeah- and talking about sales in horse related products is never boring around here!

If you are in the UK, the national levels are different (PSG, I-1, I-2, and GP are FEI levels, and the same in all countries). Try the British Dressage web site
www.britishdressage.co.uk

The British levels have names like “Elementary”, Novice", “Medium”, “Advanced Medium”.

But I do not know the full list off hand.

hey thanks

Im currently just hitting the US as thats where the niche is the biggest but will be looking into the UK and writing up about that.

Thanks! I guess however stressed I get i happy that I can write about Dressage

Does anyone know what the M-level of Dressage in Europe is equal to here in the US? Would it be 3rd?

The UK levels are Prelim, Novice, Elementary, Medium, Advanced Medium, Advanced, PSG, Inter 1, Inter 2 and GP.

That’s 10 though not 9.
