Noisy Clippers, self repair?

I have older Andis super 2 speed clippers that seems to run great. When I turn them on without the blade they are whisper quiet, but when I attach the blade it makes a ton of noise, when I press the blade firmly down it runs quietly.

I’ve taken them apart to make sure they are clean and oiled and the screws seem to be tight.

Any solutions?

Sounds like your blade is loose. Trying slightly tightening the two prongs at the back of the clipper blade

(see the 2 prongs?)
Use some pliers and slightly squeeze the 2 closer together.

Or you may need a new blade drive (the black part on the clipper that moves the blade back and forth). Costs like 3 bucks and you can easily change it yourself.

Nevermind, put another set of blades on and they were dead quiet and then the clippers burst into flames.
