Norad Santa Tracker

I’ve been following him for several hours now. He is approaching Nuuk, Greenland. I put this in Off Course because of the harness and sleigh :cowboy_hat_face: And I guess you could say the reindeer are akin to horses in this instance. Happy Holidays!!!

The reindeer are all galloping on the right lead, I’m surprised they don’t switch occasionally. The other thing of note is that Santa appears to only have one rein that goes to Rudolph. That’s a mighty fine team Santa, well trained.

I don’t know why he even needs reins for them. In that documentary about Rudolph we’ve all seen a million times, he just spoke to the reindeer and they understood every word he said.

Strictly for use as an emergency brake in case the team gets a bit over excited on their journey and accidentally blows by little Johnny’s house.

Good point. Plus there might be safety rules that require a one-rein-stop mechanism.

They are holding a fast pace and really making time. Must be “off track reindeer”.

I moved the view and got a close view and you’re right, the “reins” only go as far as Rudolph’s breech strap so Santa is speaking to them. I’m thinking maybe these reindeer were trained by Warrick Schiller.

I’m guessing the OSHA would have a few things to say about Santa’s operation. Similar to the horse industry. Lol.

Santa and the reindeer just landed safely back home at the North Pole. Good job!! Merry Christmas, everyone!!
