Normandy Test Event

Thank goodness Patricia from Ecogold is there and reporting back! Check out HJU here:

She’s also linked and posted some XC videos. The venue looks absolutely wonderful – horse friendly as least what I could see of the cross-country. The stadium today is someplace else due to a soccer game, I guess.
I think it is kind of sad there isn’t more interest in this in the US…at least from what I can see on my feeds…hmmmm.
Good good good interview with Clayton Fredericks, and much more!
I don’t even know if any US people are there riding. Or reporting back.

The US used a rider who is located in France or the UK named Elizabeth Halliday. I wonder what the thinking was not have sent one of our BNRs since many of them are already over there?

Yes, my question - where is the US contingent? Is there an observation crew there (not competing) or what? I mean there kind of should be. So much for transparency. And bringing up our game. The results list shows many of the other countrys’ top riders – one or two – have competed.
Andrew Hoy - AUS
Piggy French - GBR
T. Tanaka - JPN
Lucy Jackson, Jonathan Paget, riders from Sweden, Brazil, Ireland

If you would like to know a little bit about Elisabeth Halliday-Sharp, I found this link: http://www.britisheventing.com/asp-net/events/Results.aspx?RiderId=56239 in viewing British Eventing results I have learned a bit about their competitions and I think her results are excellent. It is very difficult to place in the top ten in events there and she has multiple top ten finishes at some of the biggest events, and seems to be well mounted.
