Trevelyan Farm in Lancaster PA breeds New Forest ponies, and I believe has a couple babies and under saddle that fit your description. Lesley’s web page is a bit out of date, but she is active on her Facebook page. Lovely folks and lovely ponies. If you are going to visit Pam Liddell’s place, Trevelyan is only 10 minutes down the road.

There’s one of these in the barn, and I do not prefer his temperament in the least, so it would have to be completely unlike the one that I know for me to consider.
Thanks everyone for the ideas!
I’ve seen a couple that are right up my alley. I’ve sent out some emails and am slowly getting through the rest of the suggestions so please keep an eye out, some of you may hear from me!
pwynnorman is just over in South Carolina. You can PM her here on CoTH. (I think I spelled Wynn’s username correctly.) She bred and sold Theodore O’Connor, if y’all remember.
Pepperwood Farm in Fuquay-Varina just outside Raleigh, NC has some nice Warmblood/Welsh crosses for sale. pepperwoodfarm.com
Lesley has a lovely filly who is a full sister to Forrest Nymph (Forrest Folly) who is by Forrest Flame. She seems lovely and Forrest competed to Intermediare. Jill Hardt (Florida) is currently riding the lovely oversized pony stallion, Adonis, and was recently 5th in the PSG class at Global with a 67%. I think Adonis is a Wesser Em. I would contact her as she is connected to a breeder of some very nice ponies if you don’t like the new forest ponies. All my half-breds are spoken for, (Connemara/Trak) unless you want a filly option for 2016.
Sent you a PM about 2 very nice prospects–good Luck I love my dressage Pony
Megan Harris in GA breeds very nice sport ponies
Emily Daily also usually has a very nice selection of Connemaras and crosses for sale in VA
I also second Beth Davidson as a suggestion
I usually have a foal or 2 a year but have started doing mostly custom foals if you are interesting in breeding one from my stock. I have a lovely TB stallion (Bonne Nuit/Twist lines) and I have a ID cross Broodmare and a Connemara broodmare.
I think Wynn Norman also has a couple of nice prospects for sale and I love everything Goodpony breeds
I have been preeding for this type sportpony for a number of years, the last two years have had one colt by Belefonte d’Avalon and one colt by Fandango GSF, both sold pre-weaning.
Expecting two foals this year that might be suitable, both by a Section A Welsh pony stallion and one out of an ISR/Old Weltstern daughter that competed as a dressage horse herself and one out of an ISR/Old Contucci daughter that competed successfully in hunters and jumpers.
Anticipated 2015 foals listed on my webpage. http://www.stallionstation.com/kaleidoscopefarm/forsale.html

Pam Liddell breeds really fantastic sport ponies, JJ Tate and several of her assistants are riding and showing them in FL. They are doing really well. This is her web site: http://www.kynfarm.com/index.php?/general_info/about_us
She is a super nice person. I wish I were small enough to ride ponies. I know she has many ponies available that are not on the website so I would give her a call.
I will echo this. Pam is doing a fantastic job of purpose breeding her Connemaras to excel in dressage. Unfortunately she does not keep her website up to date, but she has a LOT of ponies, so if you were to contact her I’m sure she could line up several for you to try.
Connemaras are well suited for a variety of disciplines but there are some lines that are better suited for the dressage, and some for jumping. For dressage, the ponies by Gunsmoke, Ballywhim An Luan, Ballywhim Sterling Moss and Landgate Bluebeard are all consistently proving themselves as good movers and capable of the movements required. Pam Liddell has ponies from all of these lines.
You might also talk to the owners of Ballywhim An Luan, they might be able to guide you to some of his offspring. http://www.bittersweet-farm.net/stallion/
A new up and coming stallion, Smaragaid Cliff, comes from great European ponies that have excelled in dressage. He is now competing himself and his offspring have done very well in-hand at USDF rated shows. http://www.kingswellconnemaras.com/Page2.html I know he has finally been getting the mares he deserves, his owner can probably direct you to offspring.
Lastly, I’d try contacting Kathy Lucas of Gately Farms in CA. She has several stallions that have competed very successfully in dressage, and she usually has youngstock and young ponies u/s that are for sale. http://gatelyfarm.com/index.html Her website, unfortunately is out of date too.

… I love everything Goodpony breeds ;)
Thank You TwistofFate like others have mentioned we are fresh out of young stock–time to make some more Very excited about our plans for 2016 which are already in full swing!
From my FB page — There is an awesome sport horse pony (13.1) who hurt her shoulder and needs a year off. They are trying to find her a home where she can have a foal in the meantime.
She is a British riding pony and would be an incredible mare to breed before she goes back into training.

You can contact Allyson Jacoby Coluccio on FB
I am a little surprised you have had a less than positive experience with a New Forest pony. However, I will also say, my experience with them is limited to Lesley’s stock, and she does a stellar job handling and raising hers. That said, if you breed enough animals, there is always going to be the one tough one that is an anomaly. And, well, they ARE ponies. Good luck in your search!
Tried to PM you with info, but box is full.
A friend of mine breeds quality Connemara and Connemara X s here in Canada.
She has a filly who is rising 3 by her Connemara stallion out an A Fine Romance daughter who is out of an imported Hanoverian mare (Freiherr).
She also has a yearling colt who is a 1/2 brother to this filly, by a different Connemara stallion.
I bred the mare, owned her dam, and they were both quality mares, with stellar temperaments.

She is also on FB.
Mary Ruth Marks in the midwest (WI) breeds GRPXArabs- out of a band of arab mares that are very consistent and also of her breeding. Mostly Russian and Polish, I think. She competes at a high level in driving- CDE I would look to her. Her ponies are incredibly consistent. I dont have a website for her, but any google search will find her and her driving horses, which of course could be ridden.
I have been breeding GRPs since 2003 and stand the Weser Ems stallion Burberry. I breed specifically for top of the line or oversized dressage ponies. I have a wonderful 3 year old filly by Burberry that is a very fancy dressage prospect who should mature just under 15hh. My website is www.germanridingpony.com or www.facebook.com/highlifesburberry
I just wanted to stop in and thank everyone for their help and advice.
I’m in the process of completing the purchase of a 2015 GRP filly from Solomon Farm, who ticks all my boxes (color and chrome, gender, height, temperament) for a very reasonable price.
Thanks again! I saw a lot of really, really lovely young stock while I was flipping through all the suggestions.
CONGRATS!!!
(is it the buckskin filly on her foals page?)
