North Run program

North Run (Missy Clark and John Brennan) team seems to have an amazing program.
Many young riders are building international carreers (catherine tyree, the gierkink sisters, etc.).
Do you know what are the cost to be part of their program? and what is the program exactly.

northrun.net. Send them an e mail. Don’t mix them up with other farms with the same or similar names. Just guessing but imagine, as with most barns of this caliber, it’s thousands possibly much more at the Florida location all winter. Lessons plus use of a horse are going to be well more then what typical trainers charge. But if budget is no concern? Ask them, they are nice enough folks…

Ummmm…they show extensively year round, there might be an assistant left at home, or not, so if you are looking for quality training without having to show at the biggest shows, there are a number of very good trainers in just about any region that can get you going in the right direction. You can even get recommendations by asking on here.

Scroll to the bottom here and look at the invoices from Heritage which has a very similar program to North Run.

LOL I looked at the very first invoice and it listed board as $550.00 and I was like “wow! For board at Heritage?” and then I realized that was only a partial month’s worth . . .

Yeah, 550 was 2 weeks board only and 2 weeks training was 1175 on top of that, works to 1100 board only and almost 2500 for a months training. So about 3500 a month. That’s a pretty common amount at that level on the east coast, some are more. Shows not included, of course.

I really like how the break down all the adequan, legend, depo and gastroguard to the day that they were administered. But then lump $500 (and the amount varies month to month) under a mysterious “HS medication” description

and $400 scrim sheets?

I’m Canadian so it would be for some ponctual shows like Lake Placid, Saratoga, Saugerties etc.
I sent an email.

The $400 scrims must be custom Heritage’s sheets for all the girl’s ponies.
