Notacatbutallama

This is a wonderful story about the retirement of stakes winner Notacatbutallama (including how he got his name).

What a happy ending! Repole seems to do right by his horses.

Just got bored and thought to see if anybody here ever discussed him. Just made his own Instagram if you’re interested in seeing him now! https://www.instagram.com/notacatbutallama/

I hate the name, but glad he got a happy ending!

Thanks for the feelgood story @LauraB

But for me, THIS is the horse to end all racehorses & a trainer who should be honored somehow:

That’s not very nice to say…

I hated Cupid’s JC name too. Many TBs and QHs have pretty silly names.

I remember him! Glad to hear he has a good home!

Well I love his name and that’s why I will never change it.

This is so great!

Alysse - I see a lot of your posts about this super cool horse retweeted on Twitter and always enjoy them! It’s so great the way this turned out! Oh, and I love his name, by the way - and the story behind it is great too.

I love the story behind his name - very cute. I wouldn’t change it either

Congratulations, OP! Very happy for you and for Llama. Wishing you both many years of health and happiness!

I am his lucky human! A 15yo girl at the barn got on him yesterday and sent me this video of him doing a grid. He looked like a pro! https://youtu.be/Wyg16DIityw

Wonderful! I love his name, and the game Taboo.

Ohhh, you are lucky! Looks like he’s enjoying his second career.

I remember reading about his stakes win in Blood-Horse and wondering about his name. Fun story and the name is a keeper!

Love everything about his story! Racing needs more stories like his in the media.
