i keep seeing a red box under notifications with the numeral 1.
When I click on it, it reads: poster abc and three others ( 30 others one other time) have posted under your subscription in the Kids Being Kids, Appropriate Behavior Spin Off. I’ve never posted on this thread in Off Topic.

It’s fairly easy to inadvertently subscribe to a thread, particularly on the mobile platform. Just go to the thread and click the “SUBSCRIBED” button at the top of the page to unsubscribe from the thread and stop receiving the notifications.
