NOVA boarding

We are looking for board for 3 horses (two geldings and a mare) within about 30 minutes of Round Hill, VA. Our most important requirement is meticulous care of the horses. Field board or stall. We are eventers but it does not have to be an eventing barn. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Our requirements include:

Excellent turnout - this is key!
High quality hay and feed (or willing to feed owner-provided options)
Happy to feed supplements and administer medications (provided by owner)
Ring with good footing (jumps preferred but not required)
Somewhere to ride out and condition event horses
Knowledgeable and consistent care
If field board, stall available just in case of injury, illness, etc.
Trailer parking

Above all else, we would like to be able to go on vacation without worrying about our horses.

Budget is flexible.

High Meadow used to be good. Not sure if Jeff is still there. It’s in The Plains, just a short hack down the mountain from OCET.

Also, Morningside.

Kelly Temple is in Round Hill, not sure if she takes boarders.

I lessoned at Broad Shadow Farms for a while in N. Leesburg. I think it would be in the 30-minute drive and has eventers with tons of ride out. Madison took great care of all the horses. Super nice place.

Otherwise, stop in at Another Turn and see if they have any recommendations.
