I have not heard from our barn as to whether or not they are opening now that our region is in the Phase 1 stage. I’ve tried to find more information online, but have not had any luck (maybe my searching skills are lacking). Has anyone heard from their barn as to whether they are open or opening soon? Thank you!
I think the answer is very barn/area specific.
I know some barns have re-opened to private lessons only and those lessons are only with people who are self sufficient enough that they do not need help tacking/untacking so everyone can keep the 6’ distance.
I know of other barns who are already doing group lessons (some never stopped).
My barn owner/trainer is doing lessons for boarders now and hopes to start back with community lessons next week. She’s been working on getting the schoolies a bit fitter. Depending on how many people ask for lessons she will probably limit lessons to groups of 2 or 3. She has a big out door so no one needs to get close.
