Lots of RNAs, some head scratchers. OBS did an excellent job with sanitation, with gloved attendants to open doors, all chairs and railings wiped down immediately as people left.
Hip 237 American Pharoah filly was stunning in person. Very correct, very fluid, good size. Quiet, good mind. As was the 319 Am Ph colt, quiet with a great walk.
#44 Frosted filly was compact with decent balance, big hip and ok shoulder that seems very typical Frosted. She had a strange right hind, it was very turned out, like the hock down to hoof pointed out to a startling degree. The left hind was normal, very slightly out as should be.
Loved the #65 MDO colt, very correct and you could see the Danehill.
The 275,000 Dialed In colt, #141 was another of my picks. Big, pretty horse with good bone and great balance.
Very impressed by 320 Runhappy colt who sold for 475,000. Big with a great body, balance and good hip.
Keep an eye out for #530, filly by Malibu Moon. Loved her balance, size, and strength. Good bone, nice shoulder. Sweet gallop too, beautiful mover with a huge stride.
#541 Broken Vow colt, very classy. Typical big Broken Vow ears and plain head, but great balance and walk. I’d love him as an eventer!
If I could take one home, it would be #578, Honor Code filly. She was big, with a fantastic neck and shoulder. Great balance, nice hip, sweet personality. And splashed with white-- high stockings, with dark spots all over it.
