I bought this pad and so far it seems really nice. The backing is suede-y and the non-slip feature works. My question: Did anyone read or keep the washing instructions? I don’t want to mess it up.
Thanks.
I don’t remember getting instructions with mine, so no idea what they directed, but I just wash mine in cold water with mild soap and line dry. I have one that is a few years old and washed like that many times and it is in great condition, so my method must work!
I throw mine in the dryer even, on low heat, with no issues.
Thanks for the replies. I guess I’ll just go for it.

I throw mine in the washer on warm and hang dry. Does anyone have any tips on getting hair off before washing? It really sticks to the underside and I hate to put it all in my washer.

Not specific to the Ogilvy baby pads, but I just sweep my pads off with a corn broom before I put them in the wash. The only pad that doesn’t really work on is my BOT pad which has the brushed material inside that the hair just wants to embed into…for that pad, I use a stiff brush to get it all loose and then vacuum it off.
For the hair, I just brush off with a stiff brush, just not so stiff/hard that it catches the stitching of the quilting. I pretty much do that every time I use any of my pads, so the hair doesn’t get too built up.

I discovered accidently, when cleaning up after a pet accident, that a damp sponge works much better than anything else for removing cat hair, hopefully it is just as effective on horse hair. I just wipe in one direction and all the hair comes off with the sponge, try it.
Thanks to you all! I tried using a stiff brush but it didn’t seem to work very well. I will with a different brush and if that doesn’t work I’m trying the sponge method.
