Oh, Lynn Lloyd.

This is such a wonderful article on my mentor. She is such a special human being, and this was a great hunt to grow up with. I even made it into the background of a photo from Belmont.

Tally-ho!

Great job Jen & COTH.
Wish I would have been there!
I miss my hunting family so much.

I love Lynn Lloyd! Her sister is my very good friend, which is how I met Lynn. I wish I lived closer to both of them. Lynn is so knowledgeable and talented…a true icon in the hunting world!

Just finished the article; what a pioneer spirit!

Loved the article. It really captured a lot of who she is.

I’ve never met anyone with more charisma than Lynn Lloyd.

I believe that Lynn may have the full sibling to my horse - a PMU from Canada. Does anyone know if she has many of these horses around still?

I don’t know, as the last one I remember being listed for sale, “Jackie,” hasn’t been on the RRH website in a long time.

The Cancades stopped breeding & I don’t know if she started getting horses from someone else with a PMU contract.

Call her, she’s super friendly! I called her once with the dumbest question ever and she was kind. You could also try reaching out to Angela; I don’t think Lynn really does any online stuff herself.

Thanks, I will! I was hoping she might still have the full sibling ;).

Thank you for responding!

I almost bought a horse from her last year - her place is gorgeous and she and Angela are such warm and friendly and fun people! The hound pups were about the barn and stole my gloves to play with. How could I be mad at them, they are so cute!!! I’m on their mailing list but will admit I’m too chicken to go on a hunt with them. They seem like they have an absolute blast, though!

Hello!

PM me, I may be able to help you out.
I worked for Lynn for years and started many of her PMU’s.

Oh, please come!
We have so much fun, and there are so many different fields.
You can just walk along and hill top if you are nervous.
Either way, you won’t be disappointed.

Best article on a horseperson that I have read in a long time. Very happy to have discovered Lynn Lloyd.

No way!!!

I responded to your message (thank you!!) before I saw this. AWESOME! Will PM you again tonight when I get home and have the info at my fingertips!!!

I always love when Rita Mae Brown includes RRH and Lynn in her books. Make the books seem so much more real. (not that those books are very realistic with talking animals and all, lol!)
