POWER TO THE HAFFIES![/QUOTE]
Gonna throw Mighty Mitch into the mix! Lots of POWER TO THE HAFFIES!!!
Here’s the Mitchster, former driving pony turned cowpony wannabe.
He first started out in an Abetta endurance saddle, which is the first “westerny” looking saddle I’d gotten after my Thoroughbred gelding passed on. The old man (the TB) and I did jumpers when I was still a junior rider. And then I leased a mare and started trail riding in an Abetta saddle, lost the lease on the mare and ended up with the Mitchster. Took me a while to find the right saddle for him (years even) since he was quite overweight for a while, but a friend is letting me borrow her Billy Cook Wade now that he’s lost weight and is back down to pony proportions.

And here’s my girl, Jet. (The little mare who’s lease I lost, but I found 3 years later on Craigslist) She’s a Morgan/Quarter cross.
