Oh my goodness, clanter, what a lovely mare.

thanks…actually she bou![](ht as a long yearling to be our kid’s English Pleasure horse… which is the only thing she never did

she was in a tank, shown for many years on the national Class As, was a competitive trail top nationally ranked horse, worked in harness, used as schooling horse, would work cattle but didn’t like Angus cattle as she grew up around Herefords

the rider shown is our youngest daughter, she and the Fox grew up together, both are the same age… daughter is now a Chemistry instructor and the Fox is retired to her own special barn and shaded paddock

Are you a family member or employee?

Hope this works,

Enjoy seeing everyone’s pics! The Western forum seems a little slow, today, so I’ll play.

Was it the APHA Journal? We had one in there a couple of months ago that I know of, but I wasn’t aware of anything in the QH Journal…

I started working there 5 years ago as a trail guide part time in college. I met my (now) fiance while I was working there. He’s the BM and his mother owns it. If you saw the article in the Paint Horse Journal then you saw a pic of him and his family

I still live at the ranch in an apartment with my fiance, but I got a “big girl” job after college and sit in my office all day wishing I were outside!

LOVE the face marking on the palomino! drool

Oh, I bet it was the Paint Horse (Connection)…I get both. I’ll have to dig it out and creep on your fiance. Well, even if you have a “big girl” job, at least you get to come home to a little girl’s dream!

It is the best of both worlds! It’s amazing getting to wind down from the day job on a 200 acre dude ranch every night! Yep it was the Paint Horse Connection  His name is Lance and he’s in the family shot on the last page if I remember correctly.
