Old Magazines - USDF, Eventing, Etc. What to do with them?

My life has had lots of twists and turns the last 10 years - 3 elbow surgeries, care for out-of-town sister, etc. Anyway, I’m no longer riding and realize that I probably won’t in the future. I have lots of old magazines some dating back to about 20 years ago. Is there a good place or places where I can donate these? I’d like for them to go to someplace horse related - Pony Club, etc. Any ideas? I’m happy to drop them off. Thanks in advance!

I donated some to the local veterinary hospital for their waiting rooms.

I would check with Pony Club, 4H, therapeutic riding, lesson barns that run a lot of kids’ camps/programs. Even if they don’t want them for the info, they may be useful for crafts (collages and such). Keep in mind that some articles probably age better than others… there have been a lot of advancements in 20 years! That may affect the interest level in older material.

I’ve found elementary schools might also like them for arts, afterschool clubs, etc. Scouting clubs may use them in similar ways.

If you have a community discussion board you could try posting there to see if someone could use them for kids’ projects.

All of those are absolutely great ideas! Thank you so much.
