I am watching old racehorse movies on TCM VOD this morning. So far I’ve watched two, and both had major barn fires. Talk about formua plots!
I love the stock footage of actual races.
The barn fire has been a major cliche of horse books and movies for as long as I’ve been reading and watching them (since the 1950s) and probably before.
