This is the first time that I can remember not feeling confident calling the performances and outcome. My main concern though is to see healthy happy sound horses come accross the finish. The real eye opener will be what happens in the stables that night.

I am concerned that it has been noted that some of the dressage horses are slightly dehydrated. I can only imagine what the effects will be on the eventers after XC. I do feel that we will see the real effects on SJ day.

Is there a map of the course somewhere? I have seen the virtual coursewalk but it would be great to see the actual track.

Where has the dehydration been noted? I haven’t checked blogs today, so I’m kind of behind, anyway…

I’ll be watching. Anytime it’s hot, humid, or a combination of both, I get nervous for the condition of the horses. I always get nervous over XC because I’m a wuss (fences that don’t fall are what keeps me from pursuing any kind of eventing). Still, I enjoy it, so I’ll be watching.
