So the question of the day…will Phillip make the time?
I love the starter- every rider gets the same cheery “good luck”
This rider looks tired!
Boy he will have to make every short corner, every line right on and hustle every chance he gets and even then I’m not sure.
With conditions changing with weather, I would expect the course is not getting faster
Whew! Miner’s Frolic done good. I wish they showed more of his round. I wonder how the director is deciding on what to show.
Just got in from work and got video running in time to see Becky go…can anyone tell me when Karen and Phillip go?
thanks!
Katja
Even though this was a whole page ago… I was impressed with the time becky made up after her refusal.
That rider seems in trouble. Seems a bit out of it. He pulled up before passing the finish line.
THANK GOD 41 took the option there (and almost went into the tent). I was really afraid for a second there.
this horse is punch drunk. he looks to be in some trouble
Oh thank goodness #41 made it home safe (despite the short stop at the tent)
Y’know, quite a few of theriders are coming home somewhat worse for wear. Lt os floppiness over those last few fences.
Missed the rest of the Russian rider because of a commercial and bad buffering. I saw that he smartly went the long way at the two bullfinches, but did I see him end up in the tent somehow?
I think that rider was as bad off as his horse.
I think the rider was worse!! Here hoping horsey is OK! Amazingly he jumped clean.
Elimination counts as 1000.
You need 3 scores for a team result.
did you hear the yelling at the russian guy after he crossed? directing him where to go and such?
sounded like he was a little disoriented
Thinking about the Chinese rider again - I hope he’s okay. He is really a lovely rider, just a little too young for the task. I hope he’ll be able to keep competing as a presence even after these Games. So often it seems that the host country preps someone, but they don’t have the backing to continue once the excitement fades.
Japanese horse came in looking well (#43)
I haven’t seen the Japanese rider before the bullfinches, but I’m surprised he even tried the direct route there. Glad they were able to complete.
