Well team GB are out, but I wanted to post to say I’ll be sneak watching at work and hoping USA and Canada can fill medal positions, been very impressed with both teams!

Just read Cortes C won’t compete today. GO USA!
With Cortes out, that makes three of the four teams tied for first with only three riders. Germany is the only team competing on 0 with a full team. Today is going to be a nail biter.
Hope cortes is ok. I love that horse.

We are heartbroken to announce that Cortes C sustained a tendon injury in yesterday’s competition and will be unable to compete for Team USA today. We are confident he will be able to make a full recovery.
While we had hoped to do everything we could to help the USA towards a medal today, Tiny’s best interests must come first. We are so thankful to our teammates, sponsors and most importantly, his owner, Abigail Wexner, for understanding that in this sport, sometimes winning means doing right by your best friend. We will be there today on the sidelines doing everything we can to support Kent, Lucy and McLain.

I know that Stephan de Freitas Barcha was disqualified from team competition, but can still compete as an individual today. And, unfortunately, Cortes C withdrew with a tendon injury. But what about the Netherlands?

The horse lover in me says, How disheartening for Beezie, but it is comforting to know that Cortes will get the best of care - as always. The prankster in me says, I knew he was crossing his legs too tight.
Did not see the round but I see Valinski is out with a nonetheless very respectable score. (And I can’t figure out how they can establish a cutoff so early in the game either). WELL DONE you guys, it was an absolute joy to watch the two rounds I did get to see. Valinski lived up to his potential in style.
Well congrats to France, USA and Germany.
Canada was so close and really did an awesome job too.
