That rail for United Touch was a heartbreaker but he left strides out at least 3 places compared to everyone else, he LOPED the last line in 5 for everyone else’s 6 and had tighter rollbacks than the entire field. What an athlete.

ETA: For those of you who didn’t see the short interview, Melanie was asked about Charlotte Dujardin’s video. She responded by saying 99.9% of riders do not act like that and mentioned the blood rule as an example of the measures taken to protect the horses.

Seriously? If I had to hear Lucinda’s inane chatter about the horse and his conscious through one more round I thought I would scream. She added no insight to the course or anything. She was great for eventing but the rest? Not so much.

Daniel Bluman withdrew so Israel team is finished. No where near medal contention, so save the horse for another day.
It’s just not happened for Belgium has it.

Unfortunate day for Belgium. I quite like their team though, and I hope the individual is more successful for them.
