I’m curious, would the riders value a team medal or an individual medal more? The same? If they had to pick one and be out of the running on the other, which one would matter more? Obviously both are extremely amazing and an honor to win.
I would guess it probably depends which one you don’t already have in your display case. Who wouldn’t want the complete set? Lol.

Lucinda is utterly terrible at dressage. Terrible. They finally turned her off for the freestyle - I can only guess in response to complaints. It was truly agonizing to listen to. Otherwise I’d have had to seriously consider muting the sound, freestyle music or no.

My dressage friends muted Lucinda after about 5 minutes. I think she’s dreadful during show jumping. Keep her for eventing and that’s it.

I enjoyed Lucinda. My husband rides but just trails. He commented many times that her love for the horses comes through, and she’s upbeat.

Harry Charles isn’t jumping today
His horse suffered an overreach yesterday.
The Canadian who was in 31st overnight will now jump (Deslauriers).

Wow! Talk about the highs and lows of the sport within just a few hours.
I did think it was interesting yesterday when they were talking about the length of time between Olympic appearances for Deslauriers.
Further proof that you can do horses for a long, long time.
