I read this story this morning and have to admit I got a little teary eyed. I love Richard Mandella and I love this horse and I love my country and these veterans who put their lives on the line for the sake of bettering our lives. Love the photo of Omaha Beach with his fans and the photo of Mandella and him in their camo gear
The name Omaha Beach, for me, makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. And I hope to hear the race caller thundering his name over the loud speakers as he turns for home on the big day
