What a nightmare! Those poor horses.
I saw this. How awful for the horses and absolutely traumatizing for the owner.
Somewhat related, after giving my horse a bath, I had tied my horse up yesterday in a spot in the barn I don’t use very often. Suddenly he started jerking his head around, pacing wildly back and forth, trying to run away, and kicking out. Very out of character. After getting him to calm down a bit, I noticed a few wasps crawling around the wall where his head had been. It seemed there was a wasps nest within the wall. I don’t think he was stung but those wasps had him going nuts.

How indescribably horrible!
That is awful!! Makes me want to buy one of those hose attachments for soap and make sure it’s filled with Dawn and ready for action at a moment’s notice. Those poor horses and their poor owners. Ugh.
