I swear to you he was hell-bent on killing me, or getting kicked in the head because he would ALWAYS insert himself between my foot and wherever my foot was going to land. So much so that when I was feeding brekkie I was feet splayed to avoid a negative interaction with his noggin.
But yesterday his life ended and I will never shout those words again. He was a porch cat.
Beloved just the same.
OMG this fucking cat!
I miss that cat so much.
I miss every one of my cats even when they try to kill me! One would jump on the horse off the fence when I rode by…he occasionally got bucked off!
The ones that make you laugh (at times in frustration!) are always the best. So sorry for your loss.
Im so sorry for your loss.
So sorry for your loss.
I’m so sorry for your loss. It sounds like he deemed himself your constant companion when he thought you needed him around. Sending hugs.
{HUGS}
Even the OM$#%!G! ones leave an empty space.
You’ll walk w/o splaying in time, but your heart will remember why you did.
I’m so sorry. I’ve got one of “those cats” right now and know how the troublemakers leave a special permanent imprint on your heart.
That sucks. So sorry for your loss.
I’m sorry, too.
Such an endearing trait, you end up kind of shuffle waltzing when they’re in their underfoot mode. So very sorry, I know the hole they leave in your life with they’re gone and it doesn’t matter if they’re a porch, barn, or house cat. There’s an empty space
I had one of those too. The hole is large .My condolences.
The biggest “jerks” leave the biggest wholes in our hearts when they are no longer with us.
I hope your heart heals quickly.
The biggest PITA surely leave a hole - not just in your heart but in the house and in life. Like my Duncan - drove me nuts with his destructive ways but when he passed it broke my heart. I still miss him.
So sorry that you lost your boy
