It’s very interesting to have the commentators back in New York and not commentating live. As much as I would like to see things live, it is nice to have them announcing the scores that horses are getting on each movement. (especially b/c my dressage knowledge is lacking).

I read the comments made by the riders, and I really don’t see why Phillip was a bit dissapointed with his ride on Connaught, it looks beautiful to me!!

I think Phillip tends to be hard on himself - he seems to be a bit of a perfectionist.

boy- MS says he is resisting, I guess, but more seems like pain- his hands were totally forward, and the bit nor the riders hands was NOT the issue (imo)

Mary’s test was beautiful!!! Phillip is definitely hard on himself, although Connaught looked quite up… spooky and his changes were not completely consistant.

I think they have this tv coverage online now. http://www.nbcolympics.com/equestrian/video/index.html Right now that link has as the first video Equestrian Dressage (Way to have an accurate description guys) that seems to be the tv coverage of about an hour. I’m just hoping they show some of the Day 1 evening rides that I haven’t seen yet.

Whoever said all they could see was basketball, make sure you are watching the correct channel, as there are a couple showing the different sports. I believe that cross country will be on the Oxygen Channel tomorrow.
