Online Education Outlets for Horse Care

Does anyone have any recommendations for places to access webinar type courses from? Im just starting to poke around and found a free series put out by UGA that looks interesting that spans a few topics. I’d like to find sessions that are hoof care and laminitis related as a personal interest, but am also interested in learning more about diet, injury treatment, preventive care…pretty much anything in that space.

Im considering becoming a member of the Progressive Hoof Care Practitioners as well to access their webinar content and receive the member discount on any courses with a cost.

Go to your state’s extension site, or even look up your county extension office and call them. Most states have horse care classes online, or, at least information.

Some I know mentioned a trimmer they know who has weekly Zoom talks about various topics each time. I think they’re usually every Tuesday at 7PM MST? Here’s also another trimmer who has some courses and has a little free mini course thing which could help whether you like their teaching style etc before purchasing a course.
