Online Source for Bulk Flaxseed?

Horsetech.com

I’ve been buying from Horsetech for years now, and they’ve consistently provided the best product and astounding customer service. My orders always arrive amazingly fast too.

I get my flaxseed from them, a custom Nutraflax-based mix that is formulated specifically to my specs. Those specs are based upon my yearly hay analyses.

I also buy their dry vegetable oil; it’s way better than messy “wet” oils.

The “icing on the cake” for those who have US Rider memberships (US Rider being the roadside assistance organization… www.usrider.org ), you can get 10% off every purchase from HorseTech.

Oh yeah, that little bag of Famous Amos cookies they put in every order is a sweet touch as well.

I’ve been browsing the web this morning. My horse gets sand clear one week/month as we live in a pretty sandy area. I notice that the Omega Horseshine says that it is an alternative for pysllium which prevents sand colic, which means I wouldn’t need to do the week of sand clear (according to them). The Horsetech site doesn’t list that with the Nutra-flax… but they also have their own psyllium product so maybe that’s why?
Sooo what’s does everyone else think of that? Would you do both or just do the flax?

Late to the party but Booth Feeds in northern VA carries it ground or whole, $39.95 for a 50# bag.
