So I am looking for a new saddle. Originally I was looking for a Pessoa XCH, and I found an new Ovation Show Jumping XCH that a women is selling for $800. The pictures show that there’s no wear, and looks great. She’s sending it over and should arrive today (supper excited:D:D:D). Does anyone have any experiences with the Ovation Show Jumping XCH??
Not the XCH model but I had the standard “Show Jump” model before the XCH appeared on the scene and loved it! Very nicely balanced; puts the rider in a classic, secure seat. Clearly not a Devoucoux or Antares but for the price I thought it was well worth it.
They’re great saddles for the money. Balanced, fit a variety of horses, pretty nice leather.
Ovations are made by the same manufacturer as Pessoa. I had both an Ovation XCH as well as a Pessoa XCH, and they were very, very similar. I would get whatever has the better price.
