After a bizarre and scary incident at a hotel, my husband and I decided it is time for a LQ. I need to buy used for my budget. I found a cute 2003 Gore trailer but I do not know anything about them. Anyone have one? Pros, Cons? I read some of the axles are springs and read varying opinions…
I have a friend who had one. She really liked it, but only used it for short hauls. I thought it was rather lightly built, but she never had any problems. I’m sorry you had a scary experience.
Solid well built. Gore has been around a long time.
They’ve been around a long time. A friend has one of their bumper pulls and is happy with it.
When I was considering brands recently, I wrote to them and… a Mr. Gore replied promptly to answer my question.
Yes, their smaller trailers have leaf springs by default but you can request torsion axles if you want. A LQ trailer is unlikely to be built on leaf springs.
If you are looking for a used LQ, I’d also also put Trails West on your list to check out.
