Just as the title says, what do you think of this Zaldi saddle? I’ve found very positive feedback on the Zaldi brand from other threads, but now looking for opinions on this specific saddle I’m interested in. I’m looking for a lower priced yet decent quality saddle to try out English riding on my narrow Arab cross mare.

The saddle in the photos looks like it would benefit from some maintenance from a saddler. I think it could do with being restuffed. It also doesn’t appear to be a narrow fitting saddle. That opinion is from comparing the gullet measurement with my saddles that aren’t considered narrow.
I’m not sure what your budget is, but even if only a few hundred dollars, I think there are likely better bets out there for you and your mare than this particular saddle, given potential fit issues and condition.
I owned a Zaldi Star and loved it for what it was. Sold it 10 years later for a few bucks more than I bought it for.
That said, this saddle looks like it has seen better days. I wouldn’t purchase it. You could probably find something in better condition for the same price… I also don’t think that is going to fit a narrow horse…
