I got this on Tack of the Day, maybe a month ago, and didn’t realize that the snaps are actually on the collar too… The shirt fits well but would it horrendous if I wore it at an ‘A’ show to show in?

I thought I can definitely wear it under my shad./stock tie but not sure about it with just a regular jacket…
You can wear this shirt. Most wrap collars have snaps on them these days. This shirt is perfectly fine for ‘A’ circuit hunters. 
This type is almost all you will see at the A shows anymore I still wear a regular collared shirt for long horse shows, and I feel like the only one wearing one!
Oh I think I need to clarify the snap buttons are straight up the middle of the collar (not much or a wrap type collar) and visible the way they look on the sleeves of this shirt.

Oh I understand now. Hmm I think I might go ahead and wear it anyway. Honestly I might be more comfortable wearing it at very big AA shows than the local A shows. The smaller A’s seem to be less open to this type of thing. Maybe that’s just me? As long as the snaps aren’t glaringly obvious from across the ring, I don’t think the judge would notice or care.
You might also be able to take it to a tailor and have them switch to hidden snaps.
Yes, these shirts are seen all over the place. I have a couple of them and wear them interchangeably with my shirts that have a covered placket over the collar snaps. For some reason it seems that visible snaps are not taboo (like visible buttons used to be) now that they’re intentionally visible.
These are practically the only show shirts you will see at A shows anymore. The snaps aren’t that noticeable, even when they are centered like this shirt.
You’ll be fine. I have snaps on my favorite show shirt (a Winston). You see snaps all over. I wear it at A and AA shows.

I have the same shirt and I wore it to the last two A shows I went to. I actually like the look of the buttons, and they really aren’t that noticeable. I am wearing the shirt in this photo:
