Can an adult rider show in this division? All I can see is 12 and up ?
Yes, adults are eligible if they otherwise meet the specs. Anything 12 and up, 13 and up, etc . . . includes eligible adults (like Long Stirrup).
If the specs say 12 and up, then yes that should include all people over the age of 12, including adults. Unless there’s a top limit age (like 12-18) or the word “junior” somewhere in the specs, you should be allowed in the division as an adult.
It was a great class for me to get back in to the swing of showing on my new horse. Get ready to have your butt handed to you by those 12 year olds ask me how I know )
Definitely! I showed in both that and the Opportunity Equitation with the horse I lease all last year. I’d prefer to do 2’3" but so few shows around me offer it! There were often a few other adults, so I didn’t feel like I stuck out too much. If you’re in the New England area, maybe I’ll see you in the division this summer!
