Has anyone ordered from Halter Ego? They have some really cute breeches for a decent price that are calling my name. But I faintly remember someone saying they had a bad experience with them? But I could be thinking of a different website. I tried to find what I was thinking of and came up short.
I have ordered from, and loved, them! There are online shops in Florida and Texas whose names I confuse… the Florida one was the one with so many problems.
Halter Ego sends out orders quickly with nice hand written notes. I love them!
Same here. I’ve only ordered from them once, but my order was shipped out quickly and came with a nice note thanking me for my purchase. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again.
I think the store you’re thinking about in Florida is Centerline Style. If I’m wrong, someone please correct me.
I’ve ordered from them multiple times! Well priced and different apparel that stand out from the usual. Each arrived on time with friendly and good communication. Love them.

I’ve heard some really bad customer service stories from Connected Rider. I haven’t dealt with them personally, however, outside of watching the owner’s behavior in some FB groups.

I ordered breeches and on one pair I got the European sizing wrong. I can’t remember the details exactly but I was able to exchange them for a larger size and was very pleased.

I haven’t personally, but I know someone who gets a lot of stuff from them and loves them. I saw some of the breeches, and agree, I’m highly tempted!

I’ll take the plunge! I might need to treat myself to a pair of breeches this holiday season. I’ll update how my experience goes, sounds like a good company.
I have a lovely bridle from Halter Ego bought at one of their trunk sales at a show; I love it and the price was quite reasonable!
Because I saw an ad on Facebook, is it the Bossy Bridle?? In addition to the Connected Rider to being nasty to customers??
Glad it’s not Halter Ego though. I sent my husband a link to some breeches for Christmas.
I ordered from bossy bridle once. No problem, got my (in stock!) ps of Sweden browband in no time at all. Centerline style was more of a challenge with the custom ps bridle that was not in stock. They were great with the return and replacement of some le mieux boots (picked up a pair at WEG, needed a smaller size), so I’m not sure if the issue was PS of Sweden or centerline…
@DMK there is a thread about Bossy Bridle on fb about not getting their items and no refunds. But glad you had a great experience and got your bridle!
I have ordered from bossy bridle and an exchange was handled graciously. Halter Ego, easy ordering, quick arrival, loved the product. Recommend both!
