Ordering Horse Show Ribbons

I would like to post a thread asking COTHers how they order ribbons for their shows. I would like to include a survey of what company they order from, but don’t know if it is permitted to take surveys about different companies. If it isn’t, I could just ask about what type of ribbons – the basic "set of 1st-4th or 1st-6th place–.

Just wanted to ask before posting.

hodgesbadge. I used to order ribbons from them almost every month in college when hosting IHSA shows. They were always beautiful, came in plenty of time and never had any errors on them. Also when there was an error (made by someone else placing the order, not hodges badge) they were incredible with correcting the order and shipping them out next day air (on a friday night mind you!). I will always give them my business.

We use Hodges Badges as well. Excellent service, excellent quality. We spend a LOT of money on ribbons, nothing worse than a career best performance rewarded with a crappy ribbon.

Hodges for sure. You do have to allow them some lead time, but the ribbons last forever. I still have all mine from the 1960s!! Plus they have a droolworthy array of styles!

ETA: Actually, now that I look, I have my great-aunt’s ribbons from Hodges… from 1932!!!

Hi there ~

Yes, it’s absolutely fine to post a thread asking for input on specific companies.

Thanks!

wow war admiral! You should write to them and tell them that! Thats awesome

Hodges, hands down. They do have a great array of styles, and they change the styles often enough that you can always get a different style/design.

Thanks, Mods!
