I think you are stuck with the name now :joy: you need to go refresh your memory with the lyrics!

“ Oh, so hold on the ones who really care
In the end, they’ll be the only ones there”

His official theme song is Mmmbop :joy:

Apologies if I missed this, but do you have @eightpondfarm 's colt?

I wish!!! This is my Hazel-rah, he was a Good Karma gift Llama from the Universe. He came with that name, and I know Eightpond would have loved him, he would be right up her alley!

My old Dressage trainer/friend had a Llama - named Llamadeus - he kept pastured with 3 young stallions.
Llamadeus learned to beg for peppermints, but had little patience.
If his mint wasn’t given first, he’d snork a loogie at you :smirk:

That’s right up there with my sister’s pet donkey. His name was “Yo-tee.” As in: Donkey Yo-tee.

I had a Donkeyotee years ago. My first donkey. I wanted to name him Milton Burro, (after Milton Berle) but the vet said he would be big, so decided to go with Donkey instead of burro.

He’s a little “mommy” just the sweetest. It fills his heart with SO much happiness. I’ll update pictures tomorrow after I drop my pup off at the vet! They are all filling out, shedding out and looking fabulous!

Well today has been an emotional rollercoaster. Dropped him off at 8am and he was all smiles as he watched the door close and I can only imagine his face dropping!

All went so well! Once I have the xray I will share it. The vet and his team are fantastic. He ended up using quite a bit of screws, especially in the larger of the two bones
so the bones aren’t going anywhere. Everything came together Really nicely and the vet feels super confident he will be back to business in no time. Today was emotional
when you don’t have kids, your dogs are your babies. I’ve felt pretty sick to my stomach and finally let a little anger come through about the situation. Actively choosing to just be grateful and although he shouldn’t be in this situation, counting my blessings. I feel really fortunate to have had so many of you checking in and being a support on many levels and can’t thank you enough!

Outside of Bruno, all is well! Babies are growing so much. They are stretching at the moment. I’m really grateful they have stayed so healthy because the other foals sound like they didn’t get as lucky :grimacing: so more blessings falling down on me :joy:

So happy that Bruno’s surgery went well!

Those poor little foals looking to nurse. It’s heartbreaking. Well done you for giving them a chance.

Take care of yourself. You’ll come through this well, all of you, I’m sure of it. :hugs:

Glad to hear Bruno came through his surgery well. You must be relieved, too!

The foals are such baby-babies. They are so fortunate to have crossed paths with you.

So glad Bruno is doing as well as can be expected.

Those babies are precious. Little babies trying to nurse so heartbreaking and sweet at the same time.
