It’s not a daily thing. It opens up for short periods, and then gets locked back down.
I would imagine it’s done. It was open for over a week.
Odd tho, it wasn’t announced or shown as closed. Enjoyed it!
Yes, usually the mod notes when it’s closed. (And it gets a little padlock icon.) No problem, fun while it lasted. 
I just did the same thing. Wondered if it is a glitch.
I was surprised. I figured since they kept it open this long, they’d at least hold it open till the end of the weekend.
Usually there is a post “off topic day is closed, but open for reading” with the aforementioned padlock. Moderator 1 appears to be on line there right now.
I know I got a site down earlier this morning,though it was only for a minute or two.
