Brendan Furlong is hands down the best (imho). 908-439-2821
I like Greg Staller at Running S 908-832-5484 he takes his time and is very detailed. I’ve taken a few horses I was selling to Furlongs for PPE’s the set up was very nice but each time the vets where called away for other (non emergency) clients multiple times.
Changed the location from Whitehouse Station, NJ to Ottawa…the horse search continues…

Dr Butler is good. Other option is Rideau st Lawrence vets. https://www.rideauvet.com/ always used them with success. PPEs to daily things with positive results.

No recommendations for shippers but there are some decent local ones if you google or just go with one of the big names and you’ll probably be safe. Just get some references or post on here after you find some shippers.

For PPE, Dr. Butler hands down. OVLAC (Ottawa Valley Large Animal Clinic), He is an amazing, experienced vet and will see things that others do not. Do not accept any other vets from the clinic, (not that they aren’t good, but Butler is the best!)

Can’t recommend any PPE vets, but I highly recommend Eastern Equine Transport in Canadaguia, NY. They’ve hauled for me several times and are always timely, easy to work with and the horses are impeccably cared for on the trip.
