Looking for suggestions.
We stayed at Horse Camps at Otter Creek last year, but they don’t have any openings.
I’m considering Possum Lodge, but would like late June or August. I’m limited by my teaching schedule but my friend and I are looking for 4-5 day opening with a decent cabin and, preferably, paddocks for the horses.
If you’re somewhat flexible on dates, follow Otter Creek’s facebook page. They post last minute cancellations there. Deposits are due for this year’s rentals by 2/15, so I would expect there will be spots available on 02/16 for those cabins where potential renters didn’t put in their deposits.
We are already doing that, but I was looking for other options if nothing came up.
That said, my friend booked us for a week at another place near the southern end of the trails for August 12-16 so were all set and looking forward to going again.
