I’m looking at a used Ovation saddle, the billet guard has the numbers 464808 - can anyone tell me what this means?
im being told it’s a circa 2015 Ovation, but I’m wondering what these numbers tell me.

That’s the stock number from the company that sells them. It will tell you which model it is. I’m pretty sure there is no year stamp on those
How do I know if the gullet is exchangeable?
I believe it is an Ovation Show Jump saddle
The pessoas (I think the ovations have the same system) have two large screws on either side of the d-rings
