Not only that, the pump jockies in Oregon sometimes act like they are doing you a favor to give you service.
One station I particularly remember. I had crossed the south eastern Oregon vastlands praying that I would make it to Bend before the tank quit.
I sat for almost three minutes and another car pulled in. im out of car looking around for someone and out of the drive in next door the boy staunters over with a burger in hand. He proceeds to start the second truck ( grrr) then mine, all the time eating his burger.
Now one of the supposed reason they dont let you pump your own is the health safety issue. Believe me there is nothing more dangerous when working with chemical as eating at the same time. I guess I would not have been so grouchy if I had eaten in the prior seven hours. And not paid a premium price for this crappy service.
Anyway, to you problem. Part of the problem is getting toughened up. It does sound like you might be perched a bit to far forward or that the rise in the pommel of the saddle may not be fitting you. There is a valid truth to the concept of saddle cut with a different twist for women .
I would suggest searching the Ultimate Dressage Bulitaine Board for lengthy discussions on this but they just had a megacrash and it looks like they might have lost all the archive. Mark is at big event so he cannot get the whole system up and going. Amazing that he got done what he did.
