Oz Autogate

Somebody needs to make an American version of this or import the Aussie one.

If the price were right I’d have more than one.

s![](milar gate systems were patented here in the 1880s

I see that. But the Aussie version is MUCH simpler and is in production. Does anyone in the U.S. make a similar product?

You can use that on roads, as long as you don’t have cattle or horses or something that may open the gate if it happens to stand on those ramps?

I have seen gates that open like that, or swing, by pulling on a rope on one side, while in the car, then pulling on the rope on the other side after you drive thru.

Best I remember, they were wooden gates and they folded to go up, bolts on the boards were pivot points, then they squared again as they came down.

I think those were in the drawings in the old Western Horseman “Handy Hints”.
