Any recommendations for a lightweight zip-up English paddock boot with a soft footbed, good arch support, lower heel, and good traction? I was getting the Ariat Heritage but they are a bit heavy, imo. Thanks.
Fabbri or Tucci have thin soles, best feel
Consider a pull-on over a zip.
Zippers collect arena grit & eventually die.
If they’re like my first custom Dehners, only Dehner carried the correct size replacement - meaning my boots had to go to Nebraska😑
After sending them back a 2nd time, I got smart & ordered pull-ons.
My current pair of pull-on Dehners is nearing 25yo & just beginning to look worn-out.
Still wearable, just looking sad.
Which, for the most part, is due to my non-care.
Any shoemaker can replace the soles & heels.
I bought custom LaMundials. They’ve been great.
Thank you for your help, dear friends!
Grand Prix Saltare Boots are my favourite. Very comfortable look at Milan…
