Paddock Boots that run wide?

As hard as it is to believe, my 12 year-old goddaughter needs to move up the ladies’ size paddock boots. They grow up so fast!

She always wore Ariats in youth sizes, but they seem too narrow now in the ladies’ sizes.

Any recommendations out there on paddock boots that run wide, or can be ordered wide? It seems like Ariats only come in medium width.

TIA!

Actually, sorry ya’ll, I just found where you can order Ariats in wide - yay! Sorry about that - should have googled more before posting!

If you don’t mind, where did you find paddock boots that can be ordered in wide? I am also in need of finding a pair in wide.

BUMPING to find out where/how to order wider paddock boots. My last pair of (preloved) men’s Justin lace-ups bit the dust finally. I really need the ankle support of paddocks. I bought a pair of men’s Ariat Terrains, but I don’t like how they fit in the stirrup, and I’m a nervous Nelly re-rider to begin with.

Yes please, another person who appreciates the bump of the old thread who would like to know where you can find a truly wide paddock boot. The pair I have now are a discontinued Mountain Horse paddock boot. None of the Ariats I tried on were even close to what I would call wide.

Wide Ariats are very hard to find! I have a truly wide foot (although not like DD wide, just good old warmblood size feet…) and the Ariat RT actually works fantastic. I was ordering a size up in Ariats to get enough foot room and then they were still pinchy. I order normal foot size in RT and have been very happy, well other than the quality of Ariats falling! that’s a Segway!

Mountain Horse has a wider footbed, which I love. My favorite paddock boots are a pair of discontinued Mountain Horse with back-zip

My favorite tall boots are also MH. I have a wide ball-of-foot and the narrow footbeds are no bueno for me.

The Ariat Devon Pro VX has a wider last and toe box than the other models. For the really wide foot, the Dublin Venturer pull-on does the trick.

Always had luck with Blunstones, but not sure of current quality.

I had to buy my ariats in men’s to get them wide enough. Finally I am not breaking out the sides of my boots after 6 months!

I, too, have a foot that’s too wide for Ariats. My last couple of pairs have been Dehners, which come in different widths and have a greatly superior leather quality/workmanship than the comparable Ariats.

I have found C width Ladies Ariat paddock boots on eBay.

I am curious to see where wide Ariat paddocks can be found as well! For all you out there with wide foot problems…stick your feet into some of the cheaper synthetic paddock boots. It might make you want to turn your nose up, but if you’re like me you go for comfort not for what something is made of, and I only use paddocks and half chaps for schooling, so who cares anyways? I have severe bunions on both feet that need wide clearance to avoid pain. I have a pair of ohhh… 8 year old synthetic paddock boots and while they aren’t a “perfect” fit, they do allow me to be on my feet without cursing with each step because they seem to have much more give in the toe box. They are unfortunately after much abuse starting to break down and it’s time for the next pair…maybe some Ariats in a wide if they really do exist

I believe Kroops can be ordered in wide sizes, although I’m sorry to say they have gotten much more expensive than they were when I bought mine. On the other hand, mine have lasted for the better part of two decades. So if they are still as durable, it’s money well spent.
