I am sad for Ruy…he seems like he really loves his horses and the sport.

What time zone are they in? Did they start late? Yesterday I swear the times were the same as here.

ETA I guess the start times shown on that score board were from dressage. jk.

the EN live cross country updates is now working

it

it started 30 min ago - 11 a.m. Lima time

they are in central STANDARD time. I am in central DAYLIGHT and they are tracking with my clocks. I am sure he was told to be safe and clear. I suspect 11 time penalties will be not too bad in the end.

It looks like the start times are 8 minutes apart … so for the most part there is only one horse on course at a time. Lynn should be starting about now …

Lynn clear inside the time

Lynn is home clear! Double clear!

WTG Lynn!!

we’ve been spoiled by the fabulous results pages from Badminton/ Burghley etc. that show live jump by jump results - clear, stop, RF, MF, retired, EL …
would be interesting to know where the Mex, Per, and BRA riders had their problems.

Lynn S went double clear.

what is the tine between horses? Did I hear 8 minutes? That will make for a very long day. Especially when there is an elimination.

about 5 minutes until our favourite horse and rider from Chili starts
fingers crossed for them

Great job Karl and Lynn! Karl’s Horse isn’t super speedy so not surprising he had time but great he brought it home clear.

I loved that Chili horse too

the start page I have shows 5 minutes between horses
total about 3.5 hours from first to last horse

Well, 3 on a team is still a team. There is still a discard score.
Jen, I checked on our cutie pie. Looks like he is about 16. So this will probably be our last look at him.

I think brazil has four riders

how many secure a spot to Olympics ? first only or first two teams?

EW, looks like 2 el in a row. And Quillano has an ominous 999 by his name

NOOOOO!!!
he was eliminated???
