Parlanti Sizing

Parlanti is having an outlet sale and so I grabbed up a pair of boots for a great price(impulse buy). I realize Parlantis run small, so ordered the closest to my size, it’s about a centimeter off. Was wondering if they’ll stretch at all, or if the elastic helps? Or did I just waste my money?

They are supposed to be VERY tight when they go on but if you CAN get them on, they will stretch pretty quickly. If you ordered a size that may be too small, you may not get them on.

I found a brand new pair of Parlantis on ebay for $175 a few years ago that were just slightly tight… And then found out I was pregnant. Needless to say, they weren’t my size anymore after that. I could get them zipped about 2/3 of the way up, but that was it. I took them to my local tack repair guy and he added a V-shaped piece of leather to the back and moved the zipper onto it… Essentially a gusset. They zip right up now and I’ve had no issues with them. Long story short, there’s an easy fix of they’re too tight.

Parlantis stretch and drop a lot more than most boots I’ve had / kids have had. I consistently read that you should order a cm too slim and a cm too tall to allow for the stretch & drop. Sounds like you scored a perfect pair!

When they arrive, if they’re tight, wet a paper towel with rubbing alcohol, rub on the inside of the boot then zip boot on and wear. This will stretch out the leather to fit you.

If they’re really tight, I like to wet a dish towel, wring out, roll it to about the size of my calf, place inside the top of the boot and zip up. Leave overnight.

Good luck!
